HOCKEY DAY.
HOCKEY
The whole of Room11 went to play hockey. The first lesson we learned was the slide.
I got buddied up with Nikau. We had a competition to see who could hit the cones first.
If it got hit three times we would have to do 10 press ups.
The next lesson was dribbling. I got told to come up and demonstrate how to do the dribble.
I got it after a while. Then came the next competition. You had to dribble to the other side without getting your ball taken off you. The last thing we did was play a game before the bell rang.
You had to score a goal and you win your game. The team with the most points at the end won.
When we finished, it was time for lunch.
I wanted to do it after lunch, but we couldn't.

Rewa's Village
REWA’S VILLAGE
The senior syndicate piled out of the bus. We all went up in our pairs to REWA’S VILLAGE. We stopped at the top to talk about what we were going to do. Rm 15 got to watch this ten minute movie so Rm 11 and 12 got to explore a bit. It was so amazing the Maori chief all ways got the biggest house.Soon Rm 15 came out of were they watched the movie now it was Rm 12’s turn to watch it. Me, Tui, Brodi and Nikau went up these stairs and found this Maori food storage and a bird house it was fantastic but all the fun stopped for Rm 11. We had to go and watch the movie. We had to wait for a wile wheal Rm 12 came out.
Finally I got to sit down and watch the movie. When it finished I went toilet when I came back we were getting on the bus. When we got on I was sitting by J’kay. He was playing on an ipod. When we left it was 1:50. I wanted to go there repeatedly.

Rewa’s Village
At Rewa’s Village we saw the chief’s house and he had the biggest house in the whole village. Everybody wanted to take photos. Everyone wanted to hop in and take photos. We jumped into a little waka and took some more photos but it was great anyway.
We saw how they made hangi and we saw where they used to dry and hang things like eels. Then we saw a video about how things were back then.
Catherine and I really liked it there it was really fun.
